Driving a campervan is the same as driving a motorhome in regards to the licence type. As long as the campervan doesn’t exceed 3,500kg in weight then you will be able to drive on a standard UK Category B car licence.
Campervans tend to be more compact, offering an easy-to-drive solution with the essential living facilities. A campervan is usually based on a van and includes essential living features such as a bed and a small kitchenette. Motorhomes on the other hand are larger, with more spacious interiors, dedicated washrooms and separated sleeping areas.
